Wood, sand and a view of the sea.
La Dolce Vita sits right on Playa del Cable: a low timber building with a reed-shaded terrace, tables on the sand and the Mediterranean straight ahead.
Built by hand, open to the beach.
Follow the boardwalk across the sand and you arrive under the painted La Dolce Vita sign. Inside, dark timber tables and benches sit beneath a wooden roof, with the front open to the beach.
Choose a table in the shade, out on the sand, or at the bar.
An Italian dream on the Spanish coast.
La Dolce Vita started with an Italian who wanted to open a chiringuito. He left everything, came to Spain and travelled the coast from Barcelona to Cádiz looking for the right spot. He found it in Marbella.
He worked in a chiringuito to learn the language and the trade, then found the place where we are today. The name comes from his friends, who told him he was living somewhere special.
Homemade, Italian–Spanish.
The kitchen cooks everything in house: paellas and rice dishes, fried and grilled fish, pasta, pizza and desserts. Italian classics and Andalusian beach favourites share the same menu.
Sunbeds, cocktails and long lunches.
Sunbeds in front of the chiringuito work by reservation; when you arrive, stop at reception first. From the bar there are cocktails, sangría, frozen fruit juices and coffee brought down to the beach.
Book a sunbed or a table by phone on 951 89 82 97.
